Overview We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Package Owner specializing in HVAC systems to serve as the central point of accountability for all HVAC and air handling packages on our pharmaceutical construction project in Belgium. This role manages the complete lifecycle of critical HVAC systems from design through commissioning. Responsibilities Serve as single point of accountability for HVAC packages including air handling units, cleanroom HVAC, process ventilation, and temperature control systemsDirect firms for HVAC design packages and specificationsCoordinate procurement of air handling equipment, ductwork, controls, and filtration systemsManage FAT and SAT for HVAC equipmentOversee CQV of cleanroom environments and air systemsReport to Project Director with updates on HVAC-related risks, issues, and milestonesInterface with clients, consultants, HVAC contractors, and regulatory authoritiesEnsure compliance with EU GMP, Belgian building codes, and pharmaceutical air quality standards Qualifications Bachelor's degree/diploma in Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, or related fieldNEBOSH Diploma or equivalent international safety certification10+ years HSE management experience in construction/industrial projectsProven experience with pharmaceutical/cleanroom construction safety requirementsDeep knowledge of Belgian workplace safety regulations and standardsExperience with confined space, working at height, and lifting operations safetyUnderstanding of environmental regulations and waste management protocolsStrong ability to influence safety culture across diverse contractor teamsExperience training and mentoring safety representativesProven track record achieving excellent safety performance on major projectIOSH membership or similar professional body affiliationFluency in Dutch advantageous
