The European Liberal Forum asbl (ELF), the political foundation of the ALDE Party, is recruiting a part-time
**T**eam experience & Development (HR) Manager**
to join its secretariat in Brussels.

ELF is the political foundation of the ALDE Party. Together with 47 member organisations, it works all over Europe to bring new liberal ideas into the political debate, to provide a platform for discussion and to enable citizens to make their voices heard. Through its activities, it promotes a free, open and future-oriented liberal Europe.

**Key Responsibilities**

Oversees the development on an HR strategy

Offers general assistance in HR questions

Drafts and regular checks job descriptions against developing tasks

Supports the development of and individual & shared objectives and ensures monitoring

Implements a system for Performance reviews

Manages internal communication

Supports the development managerial skills of managers

Regularly checks and amends renumaration system, including salary matrix

Identifies and supports individual training

Organises team buildings and socials

Liaises with the social secretariat

Oversees the payroll work

Ensures GDPR compliance

Sturctures and implements hiring processes, onboarding, and offboarding

Ensures workplace wellbeing

Oversees vacation planning

Mediation in case of interpersonal conflict

Developes an internal training system

Advise the Executive Director on HR and Staff matters

Any other additional task needed to execute the job
- You hold a Bachelor or Masters degree in HR or other related fileds
- You have at least 5 years of experience as an HR officer/manager, preferable within an NGO or a European Association within an international environment
- Excellent knowledge of both English and French (written and spoken), knowledge of a third language is an advantage
- You easily build rapport with your stakeholders, through both your empathic listening and thorough business acumen
- You work purposefully and accurately, always delivering, even under time pressure and this within a complex and rapidly changing environment
- You are eager to learn and always look for better and more efficient ways on work processes and systems.
