Senior Analyst – IT Responsibilities and ActivitiesAnalysisAnalyze existing business processes (as-is) and define target processes (to-be) within the BALI programReceive, analyze, and challenge business analyses provided by business stakeholdersIdentify and formalize explicit and implicit functional requirementsDescribe processes and business rules using:process diagramsfunctional schemasfunctional data modelsEnsure compliance with methodological and documentation standardsParticipate in the functional design of solutions in collaboration with:analystsIT architectsdevelopment teamsObtain formal validation of analyses from business stakeholdersEstimate functional workload with developers and contribute to project planningInterfaceTranslate business needs into clear, actionable functional specificationsDraft:use cases & user storiesdetailed business rulesnominal, alternative, and error scenariosclear functional specificationsKeep documentation up to dateActively participate in system and integration testing phasesWork closely with developers (Java / RPG) to:clarify requirementsensure technical feasibilityadjust solutions when necessaryIntegrate technical, application, and regulatory constraintsAct as an advisor and support prioritization among stakeholdersCoordinator / SupervisorVerify compliance of developments with validated specificationsParticipate in incident management and impact analysisContribute to functional and user documentationEnsure coordination with business and IT application managersProvide regular reporting to the IT Director and Program ManagerSpecial ConditionsClose collaboration with the Unemployment ServiceParticipation in long-term strategic projectsEnvironment combining legacy systems and new technologiesProfile SoughtHigher education in IT or equivalentProven senior-level experience (minimum 8–10 years) in functional and/or business analysisExpertise in designing and developing scalable, distributed products/servicesAutonomous, customer-oriented, and able to propose creative solutionsStrong sense of quality, team spirit, and initiativeKnowledge of the unemployment domain is an assetPreferably Dutch-speaking (native level) with a good knowledge of French
