ppbType of contract: /b Freelance (Initial 10 month contract + extensions) /ppbLocation: /b Ideally based in Brussels or willing to travel frequently /ppWe are looking for a consultant who can support a network assessment and architecture initiative with a strong focus on inventory management, network analysis, and security-related services. The ideal candidate should have proven experience with NetBox (mandatory) and a strong background in network and security technologies. While the consultant will receive support from our Network Engineering team whenever required, we are looking for someone who can work independently and lead technical assessment activities. /ph3Key Requirements /h3ulliStrong hands‑on experience with NetBox (mandatory). /liliExperience with network management and monitoring tools. /liliCCNP‑level networking knowledge or equivalent practical experience. /liliGood understanding of load balancing technologies. /liliNetwork security expertise. /liliWi‑Fi networking knowledge. /liliPreferably based in Brussels or willing to travel regularly. /li /ulh3Key Activities /h3pThe consultant is expected to contribute to activities such as: /pulliAssessment of the customer's current network infrastructure, web access architecture, and security controls. /liliAnalysis of existing network management and inventory information within NetBox. /liliIdentification of technical, operational, and security requirements. /liliEvaluation of potential solution options, including architecture, deployment approaches, and licensing considerations. /liliPreparation of assessment and recommendation reports, including high‑level architecture, risks, assumptions, and implementation prerequisites. /liliDevelopment of an implementation roadmap with indicative timelines, resource requirements, and implementation cost estimates for a potential follow‑on phase. /li /ulpAdditional experience with the following technologies would be highly valuable: /pulliData Centre, Routing Switching technologies (Cisco, Juniper, HPE, etc.). /liliSDN, SDA, and SD‑WAN solutions. /liliLoad balancing platforms (F5, A10, Radware, etc.). /liliDNS and DHCP platforms. /li /ulh3Project Timeline /h3pThe project is currently expected to start towards the end of September, although the start date may be postponed. The initial duration is estimated at approximately 10 months, with potential for extension depending on project evolution. /p /p
