For our Zeebrugge LNG terminal () we’re looking for a Field Operator (m/f/x).
The Zeebrugge LNG terminal is Northwest Europe’s gateway for supplies of LNG (liquefied natural gas). LNG unloaded at the terminal can be redelivered for consumption on the Belgian market, trading on the Zeebrugge Hub or transportation to other end-user markets in any direction: France, Germany, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Southern Europe and the UK.

purpose
As a Field Operator you contribute to the smooth and safe management of our Zeebrugge LNG terminal. You guarantee the safety on site, a SEVESO plant of 42 hectares, and are responsible for secure loading operations of LNG trucks with a permanent eye for quality. You manage this process in close cooperation with your colleagues in the control room.

A high school degree in (electro)mechanics and/or electrical science or equivalent experience Preferably, professional experience in a process or energy environment The discipline to adhere procedures in place The critical sense to question and improve the way things are done The stress resistance to keep calm in a crisis and to make decisions quickly and autonomously A strong sense of team spirit and responsibility Eagerness to learn and motivation to develop yourself Fluency in Dutch and some knowledge of English and FrenchAdditionally, this role requires:
Willingness to be part of a shift system (early/late shift) from Monday to Friday, with the eventual possibility of a full-continuous shift system in the long term A category B driving licence and personal vehicle
