But our highly qualified employees are our main asset. In the past year, we significantly expanded our IT expertise: we added 400 new specialists to our pool of experts.

Position Overview

In this context, we are looking for a Sales Account Executive for our European Union Institutions & NATO (EUI/NATO) sales squad. As Sales Account Executive, you will have the opportunity to play a decisive role in the further expansion of our business in these international institutions.

Responsibilities
  • You will be responsible for managing and growing one or more key strategic EUI/NATO customers at Proximus NXT.
  • Build strategic partnerships with your customers, utilizing the full expertise of the Proximus Group for traditional and innovative solutions.
  • Navigate complex organizational structures and decision-making processes within EUI/NATO.
  • Communicate effectively and maintain relationships with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
  • Possess a good command of English; proficiency in other languages, especially French, is advantageous.
  • Focus on long-term goals and partnerships, aligning them for success.
  • Collaborate with partners and suppliers to build strong relationships.
  • Manage expectations and keep the team motivated through long sales cycles.
  • Handle sensitive and classified information; holding a "Security Clearance" is a plus.
  • Develop extensive knowledge of clients and build trust relationships to propose high value-added projects.
  • Initiate opportunities, negotiate, and finalize deals successfully.
  • Work closely with the Solutions Sales and Presales Team to ensure relevant solutions are delivered.
  • Understand the specific Procurement Procedures of both EUI and NATO.
  • Provide management with insights into market trends and opportunities.
  • Contribute to budget determinations and the realization of the sales budget.
  • Manage the virtual Account Team for public tenders professionally.
  • Provide management reporting on large complex deals.
  • Report to the Chapter Owner of the squad EUI/NATO and work closely with the Proximus Luxembourg branch.
Your Profile
  • At least 7 years of experience in strategic Account Management and/or Business Development and/or Solution Sales within a B2B environment.
  • Result and customer-focused; stress-resistant.
  • Relevant experience in ICT sector and telecommunications.
  • Familiar with managing public tenders, particularly within EUI/NATO institutions.
  • Ability to develop an Account Development Plan.
  • Strong communicator with good negotiation skills.
  • Solution-oriented, creative, and adaptable.
  • Team player with people-management skills.
  • Good presentation skills and respect for internal processes.
  • Bilingual (NL/FR) and fluent in English.
  • Knowledge in P&L management.
  • Natural leader, customer-oriented, and autonomous.
  • Familiar with Agile Tribe model is an asset.
  • Willingness to adopt the Think Possible mindset.
  • Awareness of new trends and technologies.
