**Business Development Representative - Gent, Belgium**

For our newest brand Awingu, we are looking for a talented and competitive Business Development Representative (BDR) to manage commercial activities in the DACH region. You will be building pipeline and selling a high involvement B2B product, our Awingu workspace solution, through multiple touch points with customers remotely.

Your will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales.

Your prime responsibility is to grow Awingu pipeline by following up on inbound leads (e.g. website demo accounts) and by running outreach campaigns (e.g. "cold" calling). You will work closely with marketing and field sales teams to reach this.

For this this job, you will mainly work from the Ghent offices (certainly in the first 6 months - as far as COVID measures allow). Working from the offices speeds-up the learning curve significantly. **What we look for in a BDR**:

- Affinity and passion for sales & IT.
- Enthusiastic personality and entrepreneurial spirt.
- Relentless in going after new sales opportunities and enthusing customers about Awingu and what it can do for them. You will most often be the first Awingu person they talk to, as such literally representing the Awingu brand for them.
- Awingu has activities across Europe and the world. Mastering multiple languages is a benefit (and must) for the job. English is the default way of communicating and thus the minimum. We are specifically looking for people that master German (and/or French) on top of English.
- Proficient with corporate productivity, CRM and online presentation tools.
- Independent: organizing your work the way it makes you most successful to contribute to the sales results.
- Fast learner: able to quickly improve your understanding of Awingu and its (IT) environment.

**Necessary experience**:

- It’s all in your mindset. Proven sales experience in the IT industry is a big benefit.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent training and work experience.
