Parkwind N.V. is an independent green energy company that develops, finances, and operates offshore wind farms. With more than a decade of experience and 771 megawatts under operational management, Parkwind has four operational windfarms in Belgium and is currently developing projects in Germany (Arcadis Ost 1 under construction
We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Communication Officer to oversee all internal and external communications. You will be based in our head office in Leuven.
**Your role**:
- **External Communications**:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external inquiries, stakeholders, and partners;
- Manage the company's social media presence and coordinate content creation for promotional campaigns.
- Setting a communication strategy for new development projects
- **Internal Communications**:
- Reinforce the team currently responsible for internal communications
- **Events**:
- Collaborate closely with the Admin & Facility Team to plan, execute, and coordinate various internal and external events and fairs.
- Assist in logístical preparations, including venue design and coordinating event materials;
- Handle event registrations, attendee inquiries, and follow-up communication;
**Your profile**:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Event Management, or in a related field preferred;
- Proven experience in communication roles and event coordination;
- Expertise in developing and executing integrated external communications strategies;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English, with an eye for detail;
- A creative pen and a hands-on mentality;
- Proficient in using various social media channels and Microsoft Office;
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, capable of handling multiple priorities simultaneously;
- Adaptable and resourceful, able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
- A team player with exceptional interpersonal skills, able to work harmoniously across departments;
