**About the EIT Digital Growth Services**:
The EIT Digital Growth Services supports the growth of deep tech digital scaleups by helping them raise venture capital in Europe and secure their internationalisation goals. The Growth Services are delivered by the Acces to Finance (A2F) team of the Accelerator, a distributed, pan-European team of six fundraising specialists, and the Silicon Valley Hub team, a group of four business developers and consultants working from the Silicon Valley office. The A2F team and the Silicon Valley Hub team are supported by the sourcing team of the Accelerator to scout fast-growing deep tech European scaleups to admit into the Growth Services programmes. The A2F team and the Silicon Valley Hub team are also supported by the marketing lead of the Accelerator, as well as the marcom team of EIT Digital, to deploy marketing and communication strategies to raise awareness and increase sales of the Growth Services. Scaleups supported by the Growth Services should also include EIT Digital equity portfolio ventures graduated from the Open Innovation Factory or Venture Programs (EIT Digital Incubator).

**About the Role**:
EIT Digital is looking for the Growth Services Manager to lead the A2F and access to US market team in Silicon Valley to drive the Growth Services programmes to:

- Significantly increase revenues and show a clear path to profitability.
- Be recognised as the flagship programmes for deep tech scaleups in the digital space in Europe.
- Build, maintain and grow a database of supported scaleups and startups using the HubSpot CRM.
- Proven track record in leadership position startup/scaleup accelerator.
- Hands-on experience in fundraising for startups/scaleups.
- Hands-on experience in connecting startups to potential customers leading to concrete sales.
- Experience in managing geographically distributed teams and driving them to delivery and success.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Education in both technology and business as masters level (STEM MSc and Business Development).
- + years of experience in innovation management in core digital technologies with international exposure; Business acumen with track record of delivering results; experience working with C-level executives.
- Strong leadership skills and proven track record of successfully leading a distributed team.
- Intimate knowledge of deep tech startups ecosystems, including current tech and market trends.
- Entrepreneurial/hands-on way of working and effective in execution; Operational excellence and attention to detail.
- Strong presentation and public appearance skills and ability to convey simple and effective value propositions and messages.

**KPIs**:

- Substantial revenue increase of the Growth Services thanks to:

- Increased intake of high quality scaleups and startups.
- Increased programme fees and success fees.
- Increase value of EIT Digital portfolio of startups by supporting them with financial rounds.
- Growth of the HubSpot database and use of HubSpot as CRM to guide scouting campaigns.
- Growth Services success stories: scaleups acquiring large customers, raising large funds thanks to the Growth Services support, EIT Digital portfolio startups growing and fundraising or acquiring new customers or hitting internationalisation targets.
- Customer satisfaction.
- Growth Services reputation and brand.

**Languages**:

- Mastery of English, with superior verbal, presentation and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of any of these languages: French, Dutch, Italian, Spanish, German, Finnish, Swedish or Hungarian is a merit.
