An excellent opportunity for a HR Site Lead to join Lonza at our Capsules, Health & Ingredients site in Bornem. You will have overall responsibility of coordinating and executing the people strategy across all business units and functional areas. The HR Site Lead will ensure the effective implementation of HR initiatives, labor and employee relations, union negotiations, coaching and counselling to the site leadership team and HR colleagues on site.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Ensuring that people strategy initiatives which are identified for the site are met
- Manage employee and labor relations
- Effectively execute global HR processes
- Support employees/managers in their needs
- Execute Organizational Development
- Creating a healthy leadership pipeline
- Execute Talent Management, people development and succession planning
- Champions and leads performance management processes
- Identify the required Compensation & Benefits levels to ensure competitiveness and that Lonza are an attractive employer of choice
- Leads the recruitment/selection, retention and development activities on site level to ensure that the necessary capabilities are acquired, developed and deployed
- Budget responsibility for the respective HR site
**Key requirements**:
- Broad knowledge and experience in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, safety, training, and labor relations
- Dutch language is essential
- Understands different cultures and can effectively act in a multi-cultural environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strategic capability and analytical skills
- High level of integrity and ethics
- Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop HR staff member
