**The Opportunity**

Cochlear has an opportunity for an Associate Software Delivery Manager based at our Mechelen Office in Belgium. In this role, the successful Associate Software Delivery Manager will manage and deliver on a range of project deliverables across the Customer Software Department.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Leading and directing project team members to ensure the successful delivery of work packages to the required standard.
- Partnering with key stakeholders to identify and drive critical project success factors.
- Proactively leading the resolution of project conflicts and challenges that arise.
- Managing day-to-day aspects of project activities.
- Gaining a better understanding of the business and customer needs for projects and interpreting customer conversations into pragmatic solutions that serve both Cochlear, the clinical customer and recipients.
- Constructing, facilitating, refining and executing on development plans for R&D Customer Software that meet business expectations.
- Championing the adoption of Agile practices in the squad(s).
- Working closely with the relevant Product Owner and the Senior Technical Software Product Manager to shape the long term direction of the product.

**Essential Skills**
- Bachelor's degree or combination of relevant education and experience
- Sound experience in project management or software team management
- Proven experience providing project delivery and team leadership in a software development or engineering environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work with other project team members
- Strong interest to work across various types of projects (desktop software, mobile apps, firmware and hardware projects) and across various disciplines.
- Very strong customer service orientation.
