The People & Culture (P&C) Generalist provides support to the EMEA (including UK) team, global people leaders, Finance, Legal and People & Culture Team. You are knowledgeable in all areas of human resources and will participate in the development and implementation of HR policies. As the main point of contact for P&C related issues you will be responsible for responding to employee inquiries, on/offboarding, employee engagement, coaching, supporting talent acquisition, payroll coordination, employee records management, and reporting.
**What You Will Do**
- **Internal Client Service** - Serve as main point of contact for all HR inquiries from EMEA team members, effectively communicating human resource or people related processes and policies
- **Compensation & Benefits Coordination** - collaborate with local payroll providers and social secretariat to ensure payroll and benefits processes are automated and optimized, while also managing leave entitlements and various benefits
- **Compliance** - stay current on changes in social legislation and disseminate information to management and team members. Interpret, report, and manage compliance with the country laws and regulations, and interface with country agencies on employment issues
- **Employee and Contractor Changes** - manage documentation and tasks related to employee movement including new hires, transfers, promotions, salary changes, and departures. Manage independent contractor agreements by following up with internal point of contact prior to expiry date to determine renewal or expiry
- **Employee Engagement** - work with leadership to develop action plan based on employee engagement results in Culture Amp platform, occasionally coaching leaders and staff to maintain a high level of employee engagement
- **Policies & Process Improvements** - champion the continuous improvement of HR programs, policies, and procedures. Assist in creating, communicating, and implementing policies and procedures to employees
- **Data and Contract Management** - maintain integrity of electronic employee data files including entry into HCM, UKG Pro. Provide training to employees and leaders as needed on approvals and logging time off
- **Talent Acquisition** - provide guidance and support to the North American TA team with regards to: EU/UK regulations, employment laws and best practices and create/draft, negotiate via the conducting of verbal offers, and maintain employment offers as needed
- **Performance Management** - support the annual performance appraisal process via responding to inquires and providing guidance on creating clear objectives
- **Health and Safety** - ensure Prophix is compliant with local Health & Safety regulations including moral harassment and other non-discriminatory acts
- **Employee On & Offboarding** - manage portions of new hire onboarding, ensuring equipment/access card is provided. Schedule and complete exit interviews collecting information and summarizing into themes
- Other duties and projects as assigned.

**Required Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field
- 2-4 years’ experience working as an Office/HR Coordinator, HR Generalist or comparable role in a corporate environment. Tech or SaaS sector exposure is an asset
- Regular user of Office 365, including Sharepoint, Excel, Word, PPT
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English, French, Dutch)
- Experience using a mid-size HCM
- Proven experience and knowledge of HR disciplines including but not limited to recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, engagement, time off and leaves of absence, benefits, compensation, training, policies
- Thorough knowledge of local employment legislation, including human rights and health and Safety preferably for multiple countries in EMEA.
- Ability to navigate and research proper legislation and make proposal for course of action
- Self-starter with excellent time management, must have a sense of urgency, and able manage competing priorities
- Must be able to exercise independent judgment, ability to work independently and function well in a remote team environment
