Event Sales Coordinator

As an Event Sales Coordinator in the catering industry, you will be responsible for managing, planning, and coordinating all aspects of event-related sales in our establishment. Your role will be essential in ensuring the success and profitability of our private, corporate, and social events. You will work closely with clients and various departments to ensure an exceptional experience for our customers and to achieve our objectives.
**Responsibilities**:
- Plan and coordinate all sales-related events, including receptions, banquets, business meetings, etc.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and expectations, and develop customized proposals based on their requirements.
- Develop personalized proposals and quotes based on the specific needs and requirements of each event, ensuring to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with other departments of the establishment, including catering and marketing, to ensure that all aspects of the event are taken care of.
- Regularly follow up with prospects and existing clients, maintaining lasting relationships and ensuring high-quality customer service throughout the event planning process.
- Follow up before, during, and after each event to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain the quality of our establishment while identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Keep client database up to date and utilize customer relationship management tools to track prospects and existing clients.
- Monitor industry trends to propose innovative ideas to enhance the establishment's event services.
- Adhere to quality and service standards established by the establishment and ensure compliance with health and safety policies and regulations.
- Provide logístical support during events, including supervising staff, managing vendors, and resolving unforeseen issues.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in event coordination, preferably in the catering or hospitality sector.
- Proficiency in English, French, and Dutch languages, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate effectively with a multilingual clientele.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multiple departments.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with particular attention to detail.
- Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software and productivity tools such as Microsoft Office, Excel, etc.
- Flexibility to work outside normal business hours, including evenings and weekends, as per event requirements.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and proactively solve problems.
