Our client is a Biotech Company with lot of development projects.
They are situated in the Liege area.
Under the direct supervision of COO/CFO and in close collaboration with the Senior Finance Associate and a small team, you will manage financial aspects of the company. You will be working for a dynamic and fast-growing biotech ,in a small finance and administrative team of 5 people with key challenges ahead. You will have the opportunity to work in an international environment and to contribute to leading the company towards its ambitious objectives.
your main tasks will be the following:
- Review annual and quarter accounting closing performed by the Senior Finance Associate, and assist them in their task
- Review and ensure correct consolidated (BEGAAP) reporting, and accurate presentation of the situation to the COO/CFO, including comments on important variations and balances
- Prepare annual budget to be approved by the BoD
- Issue the monthly consolidated cashflow report
- Provide regular reporting and information to the company's shareholders whenever asked (among which quarterly reporting towards KIP)
- Referent point of contact towards the auditors and other partners with respect to IFRS, ICFR & compliance aspects
- Actively participate in the preparation of the IPO and related documents to be submitted in this process, including providing information to/answer questions from the Korean regulators when needed
- Improve the current reporting structure & tools by implementing a reporting BI tool and ameliorate current Excel spreadsheets used for monitoring several parameters & budgets (grants, closing journal entries,)
- Overall, bring the company to the next level in terms of structure, tools & framework related to the financial management
- Manage a team of 2 to 3 collaborators, provide them support in their tasks and guide them in their professional growth & development
- Provide assistance to the COO/CFO (i.e. specific requests, )
- Support the newly promoted Senior Finance Associate in her tasks and Provide training when necessary
- Perform required internal controls related to the function
The qualifications for this position are the following:
- **_ Around 10 years experience in a financial position (a combination of audit & industry experience is a plus, as well as a controlling experience)_**:

- Result oriented, pragmatic & ability to synthetize information
- Excellent communication skills / "professional figure" towards external partners
