What you'll do
Our client is looking for a Senior to Expert consultant that can
**lead and drive the people excellence team** as one department, ensuring an efficient and effective onboarding process to be able to onboard new people within P&T and on ‘Purchasing’ and ‘Transportation’ related topics in the business units.
This function firstly aims to foresee
**development & training** for all involved BU stakeholders linked to our P&T processes, while ensuring the necessary development and training for all the P&T teams.
Secondly to lead and organize all activities around the organizational and operational changes (change mgt) throughout P&T activities with a goal of driving successful adoption of change through effective communication programs and initiatives.
**Primary Tasks and responsibilities**:
- Provide leadership and direction in people excellence, with a strategic focus on short-term, midterm and long-term response strategies.
- Striving & implementing standards / best practices to maximize efficiency & effectiveness.
Activities:
- onboarding new colleagues
- development of our employees
- change management.
- training in processes & systems (for P&T colleagues as for colleagues in the businesses)
- training & communication on standards/best practices/improvements
- Drive continuous improvement within the team by defining, consolidating, and executing an improvement plan, while ensuring process standardization within people excellence subprocesses.
**Secondary Tasks and responsibilities**:
- Establish and maintain a relationship with management within the business, allowing for strategic alignment, as well as periodically reviewing performance, KPI’s monitoring to be able to agree on joint initiatives / projects.
- Works in close cooperation with other functions (HR as important partner in the people excellence team)
- Manage an external network, outside of the company, allowing for alignment on strategy, striving towards best-in-class processes by having outside-in views and sharing information.
- As team member, contribute, challenge & implement the agreed upon strategy.
- Ensure close collaboration within the P&T excellence mgt team.
Who we're looking for
**Requirements**:
- Master’s degree (economics, sciences,) or equivalent by experience
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in people excellence domain (development / training / change mgt / communication / )
- Substantial professional experience in (indirect) procurement or supply chain (> 10 years)
- Deep understanding and knowledge of business and process needs
- Advanced computer skills
- Experience working for a large, diverse multinational is preferred.

- Performance and result-oriented, internal customer oriented, strive for continuous improvement
- Analytical & conceptual thinking and decision-making; strong project and risk management skills
