Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Chief Commercial Officer to lead our commercial strategy and drive business growth in factoring and receivables finance. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive commercial strategy to achieve our business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the commercial strategy to drive business growth in factoring and receivables finance
  • Lead sales, business development, and client relationship management efforts
  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities while strengthening existing client relationships
  • Oversee pricing strategies and risk assessment in collaboration with the credit and risk teams
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and industry best practices
  • Drive innovation by integrating digital solutions into our factoring services
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, risk, operations, and legal) to enhance service offerings

Requirements

  • Masters degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a closely related discipline. Extensive relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
  • Must-have: 5+ years in factoring, trade finance, or financial services, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of factoring, credit risk assessment, corporate finance, cash flow management, and financial structuring within factoring services.
  • Proven skills in leadership with the ability to align commercial objectives with our growth strategy.
  • Proven ability to lead high-performing sales teams, negotiate complex deals, and develop long-term partnerships.
  • Strong professional network in the financial and factoring industry.
  • Fluency in English and French.
