Function:
- The Service Desk is responsible for the 1st line support of incoming tickets, telephones and mails. The incoming problems are mainly solved by telephone and remotely, but also in the office (e.g. for hardware problems). The problems that cannot be solved in 1st line are subsequently transferred to the internal colleagues of 2nd line IT System Support or Application Development._
- As a first-line point of contact for our colleagues, you solve both software and hardware problems. You identify the problem, make a diagnosis and provide a solution;
- You register the request or problem of the end user, and ensure that they are kept informed during the entire process towards the solution;
- You also install laptops, programs and mobile peripherals for the end user according to the applicable procedures. For this you will, in consultation with your colleague, physically staff the Service desk two days a week;
- You manage the stock of small IT material ( + initiate the order of this material )
- You always ensure correct registrations in the ticket and asset management tool (CMDB) and keep it up to date;
- If necessary, you pass on the tickets to the relevant services and follow them up;
- You are the communication channel of the IT department and send communications to certain groups within the company or to everyone in the company;
- You participate and contribute to IT projects
**Profile**:
- Knowledge of computer science: Windows, JIRA, MS Office, Active Directory,...
- Fluent in Dutch, English and French
- You are customer-oriented and analytically oriented. In addition, you are stress-resistant and you know how to speak to the end user with the necessary empathy in crisis situations.
- You can work independently as well as in a team.
- You can communicate efficiently with both technical and non-technical colleagues at all levels in the organization.
