Duties:
Incumbent will provide customer service to employees assigned to USNATO and their family members as well as visit support to VVIP and senior-level government officials supporting the President, Vice President, Secretary of State, and Secretary of Defense.
Incumbent also interacts with senior-level officials of the NATO International Staff, Host Nation Officials for Summits and Ministerials, and high-ranking officials in government organizations from all NATO countries in Europe and Eurasia.

EXPERIENCE:
Knowledge in customer service with both working-level contacts and VIPs as well as administrative functions such as organization and maintaining office records, correspondence, and daily calendars/schedules.
Strong office management skills are required. Able to communicate proficiently in speech and in writing. Able to multi-task to meet customer needs and to provide excellent customer service. Able to use judgement to give advice to customers and senior-level government officials and make quick decisions. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel). Typing skills above 40 wpm required.Minimum three years of experience in an administrative office with an emphasis on logistics, protocol, and visitor support.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Must be able to obtain a U.S. Department of State Secret level clearance.
A firm knowledge of computers, word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs is essential.
Ability to work independently and handle simultaneous overlapping events and functions, resolve scheduling problems and prioritize appropriately.
Must be able to assimilate information through reading and first-hand experience for a thorough knowledge of protocol, titles, precedence and etiquette of the host country, NATO countries and USG.
