Ops Strategy Business Manager

Within the
**COO Office team**, we drive
**transversal action plans** with an objective of
**operational efficiency**. These topics are highly visible topics and contribute to
**24-26 OPS strategic plan**. The COO office is directly reporting to the COO and the Management Committee of AXA Belgium. The team works in close collaboration with all Operations (‘OPS’) departments, representing ~1500 collaborators.
We are looking for a dynamic & pragmatic profile to
**drive the execution of the strategic plan **in the different OPS departments
** **and to implement a
**business process management framework** within AXA Belgium.
This profile will report directly to the Head of the COO office team.
The mandate is
**transversal** to AXA BE, and includes the following:
**1/ Drive the execution of the OPS strategic plan 24-26**
- Together with Business representatives, Transformation & IT teams, facilitate & structure the discussions on the initiatives contributing to the strategic plan for each operational scope
- Provide an overview of the initiatives contributing to the realization of the strategic plan, their status and outcomes
- per operational scope and in consolidated transversal OPS view
- Ensure alignment between delivery of the initiatives, their outcomes and the strategic ambitions
- Challenge & support the different stakeholders (Business, IT, Transformation, Distribution, etc) to ensure realization of plan
- Organize the adequate forum to discuss progress and results on the different initiatives
- Together with the delivery teams, identify & raise potential bottlenecks and propose mitigation actions to deliver strategic ambition globally
- Ensure changes in the defined Ops Strategy plan & project portfolio continue to be aligned with the company's strategic goals and objectives.
- Report to Management Committee on OPS strategic plan realization
**2/ Set-up a Business Process Management Framework **with an objective of accelerating the simplification of processes and improving their performance:
- Establish/update AXA BE business process cartography
- Monitor process metrics to ensure alignment with business ambitions
- Set up governance to define and prioritize the processes to be simplified and redesigned
- Together with the Transformation team (Project managers, Business consultants) and the Business representatives manage the backlog of the process improvement-related initiatives & evaluate the results of these initiatives on the process performance
- Identify areas of improvement and propose recommendations to improve process performance
Foster continuous improvement in the business teams on process simplification & performance
**Your Profile**
We are looking for a profile with more minimum 5 years’ experience in project management, process design & improvement. A proven experience is operational team is a plus.
- Strong stakeholder management skills - proven ability to manage large and diverse teams of professionals
- Solution-oriented, challenging attitude and proposing alternatives to improve current situation
- Ability to structure and monitor delivery, being the effective liaison between Business OPS, transformation teams, IT, Distribution, etc
- Strong analytical skills
- Strategic thinking, understanding link between project delivery, target KPI’s and strategic ambition
- Process-mindet, ability to design, challenge, improve processes
- Proactivity and ability to work independently
- Strong communication skills and helicopter view - ability to convey messages to different audiences (Executive & Senior management, delivery teams,)
- Perfect knowledge of French or Dutch, active knowledge of the other official language and of English
