- WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
As Sales Manager you will develop and lead execution of strategic growth plans for all sales activity for the nVent ERICO, ERIFLEX and CADDY brands across Benelux, the UK & Ireland. This role reports directly to the Sales Director, EFS Europe & Africa. The working model is home office based and a travel time of 50% is encouraged, if necessary. Are you up for the challenge?- Lead a sales team to achieve sales growth with end users and channel partners- Develop a sales strategy and objectives to maximize revenue and identify growth potential for targeted end-users, new end-users, specifiers, OEM clients, and channel partners in a three-tier sales business.- Direct and oversee creation and implementation of effective territory sales plans to drive growth of current customers, new business development, and successful entry into emerging markets.- Closely partner with marketing team and product specialists to identify industry and regional opportunities and determine appropriate sales models and methods to support market growth.- Deliver and refine presentations and lead discussions highlighting our benefits and value propositions.- Actively communicate competitive feedback and market dynamics internally to help further improve solution set and refine messaging.- Use Salesforce as a tool to manage opportunity pipeline and communicate feedback internally.- Actively manage and coach sales team to develop understanding and commitment to sales strategies, pricing, joint calls, and personal/business development.- Set clear expectations with sales team and embed an accountability mindset for meeting sales objectives.- Act as voice of customer conduit between the field and support functions; collaborate with various business functions to assure direction on products, processes, and strategies.
- YOU HAVE:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or applicable experience in technical sales- Previous experience in or with- Electrical sales with a focus on commercial sales-
- Minimum 5+ years outside sales and/or territory management-
- Experience working with end user customers on projects-
- Experience with managing direct reportsSkills- Demonstrated achievement in sales and business development-
- Strong teamwork-
- Organizational and time management-
- Strong preference for technical sales and value based selling skills-
- Ability to work from home office and travel time of 50%, if necessary- Must be proficient in English
