**over de organisatie**:
Film Fest Gent is het grootste internationaal filmfestival van België, met jaarlijks meer dan 100.000 bezoeken. Het festival presenteert elk jaar in oktober ruim 100 langspeelfilms, 30 kortfilms en zet zijn schijnwerpers op de filmmuziek. Sinds 2001 worden de World Soundtrack Awards uitgereikt, een reeks internationale prijzen voor de beste soundtracks voor films, televisieseries en documentaires. Film Fest Gent ontvangt, naast het publiek, ook regisseurs, actrices en acteurs, filmjournalisten, producenten en filmdistributeurs. Zo is het festival een ontmoetingsplek tussen de filmindustrie en het publiek, met de collectieve beleving van cinema voorop.

**over de functie**:
Onder begeleiding van de ‘Medewerker ticketing en onthaal’ ondersteun je de verkoop van tickets en merchandise en de customer support van Film Fest Gent 2024.

Je ondersteunt het festivalteam bij:

- de customer support via telefoon (ticketlijn): eerstelijnscontact bij vragen van ticketkopers
- de installatie en productionele opvolging van de festivalkassa's
- de voorbereiding en opvolging van de verkoop van merchandise op het festival
- het ondersteunen van kassamedewerkers (vrijwilligers en locatieverantwoordelijken)
- de organisatie van het Press & Industry Office aan Kinepolis, de plek waar professionelen en pers hun accreditatie en tickets kunnen afhalen. Daar help je de vrijwilligers bij het onthaal en het printen van passen en tickets binnen het ticketsysteem.
- De organisatie van de gastenbalie (in samenwerking met de gastendienst)

**profiel kandidaat**:
Diverse teams zijn sterke teams. FFG ijvert voor gelijke kansen en diversiteit en zet in op kennis, ervaring en motivatie ongeacht geslacht, herkomst en leeftijd.
- Je hebt goede digitale skills: je bent vlot in het leren en gebruiken van een nieuwe software
- Je kan administratief nauwkeurig werken
- Je hebt goede communicatieve vaardigheden
- Je hebt een klantvriendelijke en probleemoplossende houding en houdt ervan mensen te helpen
- Je hebt een flexibele werkhouding
- Je spreekt Nederlands of Engels (min. één van beide niveau B1/B2)
- Je bent geboeid door de wereld van film en cultuur en heel gemotiveerd bij te dragen aan de organisatie van Film Fest Gent 2024
