The Business Director - IT (Aviation) will lead the strategic and operational IT initiatives for our aviation vertical.

This role is akin to an advanced Senior IT Business Analyst, bridging the gap between IT solutions and aviation business needs.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Supervising the formulation of an organization's business goals and objectives.
- Overseeing business revenues.
- Identifying opportunities and expanding the company's presence.
- Cultivating client relationships to ensure achievement of business objectives.
- Championing the adoption of project management processes.
- Facilitating communication across key cross-divisional stakeholders.
- Coordinating team interactions.
- Collaborating closely with: - Lead Architect - Client Partner - PMO
- Evaluating customer requirements and orders.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Strategic Vision & Leadership:

- Define and champion the strategic IT vision in alignment with our aviation business goals.
- Lead the development and execution of IT roadmaps, ensuring they are aligned with the company's aviation objectives.

Business Analysis & IT Solutions Development:

- Engage with key aviation stakeholders to understand and document business requirements.
- Collaborate with IT teams to develop, implement, and refine solutions that address aviation-specific needs.

Stakeholder Engagement:

- Foster strong relationships with senior management, flight operations, ground services, and other relevant aviation departments.
- Represent the IT function at aviation industry forums, conferences, and seminars.

Project Management & Implementation:

- Oversee IT projects specific to the aviation field, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality outcomes.
- Lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring aviation IT projects meet business objectives.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation:

- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in the aviation IT space.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, seeking opportunities to streamline operations and enhance IT service delivery within the aviation sector.

Risk Management:

- Ensure that all IT initiatives comply with aviation industry regulations and standards.
- Oversee the assessment and mitigation of risks related to IT implementations in the aviation environment.

**Languages**:
The working languages of the Agency are English and French. For this particular post, a thorough knowledge of English (oral/written) is required. Spanish would be useful.
