**POST CONTEXT
Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) provides an integrated Strategic Effects framework, employing a multi-domain and multi-region focus to create a 360-degree approach, with the flexibility to enable, upon direction, a seamless transition from Baseline Activities and Current Operations (BACO) up to the Maximum Level of Effort (MLE). SHAPE supports SACEUR in fulfilling his terms of reference, as directed by the North Atlantic Council.
The Strategic Enablement (STREN) Directorate is responsible for directing, monitoring and co-ordinating the implementation of Integrated Resource Management (IRM) activities and staff functions at all levels of command across Allied Command Operations (ACO).
The Resource Management Division (REM) is responsible to SACEUR through COS SHAPE for the development and support required for the employment and monitoring of the ACO Strategic Management (ASM) System, including the ACO Strategic Management Plan (ASMP), providing ACO Programme Management lead in the development and implementation of NATO 2030 Resourcing initiative.
The post provides programme level support to the NATO 2030 Resourcing ACO Management Office (AMO).

**PRINCIPAL DUTIES**
The incumbent’s duties are:
Support the NATO 2030 AMO:
- Contributing to the coordination of ACO NATO 2030 strategic objectives and priorities, performance and risk management across all common funded resource pillars (Manpower, Military Budget and NSIP), by:
- Establishing and maintaining coherence and coordination of NATO 2030 requirements by considering the inter-dependencies between the resource pillars at points where key decisions or planning points occur.
- Identifying the impact of NATO 2030 requirements across the resource pillars through appropriate cost-benefit analysis and risk/issue management, allowing for the decision and the risk mitigation activity to be executed in a comprehensive and complementary environment;
- Directing coordination of NATO 2030 military budget and workforce requirements with FINAC and J1.
- Supporting NATO 2030 resource planning activities in the context of the Medium Term Resource Plan.
- Developing reports on financial progress and performance, in line with agreed priorities;
- Reinforcing the NATO Resourcing ACO Management Office (AMO) capacity to better anticipate and coordinate financial planning responses by attending the Budget Committee and other Boards/Committees’ meetings as observer, when required.
- Coordinating and participate in IPTs, produce staff papers, presentations and data consolidation, financial reports and directives related to NATO 2030 requirements.
- Assisting the Principal Resource Advisor / ACO Programme Manager with the financial planning, analysis, implementation and monitoring of related projects.
- Organization and coordination of arrangements of weekly meetings, periodic workshops and conferences related to NATO 2030 Resourcing.
- Focus on continual improvement of systems and processes internal to the organisation challenging the efficiency and quality of procedures while offering and implementing change solutions towards the achievement of a more effective and efficient organization.
- Support the Principal Resource Advisor / ACO Programme Manager capacity to staff and coordinate resource related outputs, including attending and participating in the NATO Resource Committees as applicable.
- Support the development and implementation of policy, doctrine and supplementary ACO documents regarding NATO 2030 Resourcing support to ACO.
- Draft reports, minutes and speaking points related to AMO products.
NATO committee responsibilities: Observer
Managerial Responsibilities: Must be able to lead and facilitate a broad spectrum of functional experiences and competencies without the direct guidance of fist-line supervision.
**ADDITIONAL DUTIES**
The incumbent may be required to undertake TDY assignments both within and without NATO’s boundaries and be willing to work unsocial hours.
The incumbent may be required to perform like duties elsewhere within the organization as directed.
The work is normally performed in a typical Office environment. Normal Working Conditions apply. The risk of injury is categorised as: No risk / risk might increase when deployed.
The incumbent may be required to perform a range of duties within the division at the same grade, utilizing the individuals skill set, without there being and change to the contract.
