**Our company**

Turtle is an international brand for better breakfast. As a young family business, we managed to establish our own brand within just a few years. In the next few years we want to continue conquering the Belgian and European market together with you.

With our products, we offer consumers in various European countries a better breakfast. To get in their daily morning routine we use different sales channels (supermarkets, specialist shops and online). Turtle products are certified organic, vegan, have less sugar, many are gluten-free and most importantly, they're incredibly delicious

As part of our small but talented team at Turtle, you'll make sure our breakfast cereals and spreads are found in retail. You help ensure that our company will increase its sales by 5 times in the next 3 years. Your opinion counts and you will quickly become part of our rapidly growing team.

**Your position**

Sales manager Belgium & International

**Your responsibilities**
- Better breakfast Make sure, that more consumers have access to better breakfast. You will achieve this by increasing our presence in Belgian retail chains on a central level and in individual stores as well as with wholesalers for various international markets.
- Define and execute the right sales strategy and put it in place to ensure a maximum of market penetration.
- Based on your own success you will be able to build and lead a team around you to ensure further growth.
- Negotiate on a regular basis a healthy margin with our existing clients and a set of promotion conditions, that optimize the sell-out figures in stores.
- Increase our market share with the recruitment of new customers.
- Plan and coordinate sales drives with external field sales agencies.

**Your tasks**
- Maintain a good and reliable relationship with our existing clients through the organisation of regular meetings and calls. This will be the foundation for knowing the client, negotiating and closing the deal.
- Implement new products and optimize the assortment with existing clients.
- Calculate and monitor the possible condition mix and promotional investments, that can be given to the client, based on the margin for each article.
- Coordinate promotion actions internally with marketing and logistics colleagues
- Identify and prospect new clients across different countries and categories (retail, wholesale, online-shops etc.)
- Regular visits of big and small clients, that are key to the growth
- Mediate between operational troubles and client expectations, if necessary.
- Aggregate necessary information for the creation of new articles with the client
- Represent Turtle on trade fairs

**Required Skills**:

- You have an entrepreneurial mindset i.e. you identify and make the most out of opportunities furthermore you overcome and learn from setbacks.
- You take initiative and have the urge to get things done.
- Several years of experience in sales
- A strong sense for communicating our company values and products´ unique selling points to category managers, store managers and colleagues.
- Numbers are not just numbers for you, they actually make sense.
- Professional English skills (oral and written) are a must, so you can communicate with our clients from all over the world. Dutch or French would be a big plus, since Belgium is our home turf.
